1. What is your current role at Lonza?
I am working as a senior organic chemist at Lonza R&D.
2. What did you do prior to joining Lonza?
I was a graduate student at Brandeis University. My research area was total synthesis of natural products.
3. Why do you like working at Lonza as a graduate?
The company atmosphere is great; the people are nice and helpful. Also, I can learn many things/skills as Lonza offers a lot of opportunities for trainings.
4. Please tell me about an amazing experience you have had at Lonza.
One of the amazing experiences I've had is the mentoring system in R&D. Every new employee has his/her own mentor who will guide you to become familiar with the new working environment and working progress, teach you how to use certain machines, and help you if you encounter any problem. 1.What is your current role at Lonza?
I am working as a Senior Organic Chemist at Nansha R&D. My tasks involve development of the synthesis of chemicals and process optimization in cooperation with chemical engineers, analytical specialists and process chemists.
2.Why do you like working at Lonza?
The people at Lonza build a very open-mined and motivating environment in which creativity and effectiveness are encouraged and advanced SHE technologies are applied. This will enable employees to contribute to their fullest potential and grow in a professional way.
3.What makes Lonza unique?
Lonza is the "multi" of the world - multi racial...multi national....multi religious. This has given me an opportunity to see the world from a different perspective and to work alongside an extraordinarily talented and diverse group of people from around the globe.
4.What do you like doing in your free time?
If I am able to have a long period of time off, i like to travel around the countryside, enjoy its charming pastoral landscape, otherwise I stay at home and update my Hi-Fi devices.
